One family. Two life-changing wishes.
In a matter of days, six-year-old Logan went from being an energetic little boy to being paralysed from the neck down.
Doctors diagnosed him with Acute Disseminating encephalomyelitis and Extensive Longitudinal Transverse Myelitis - auto immune disorders that damage the spinal cord and brain.
After an agonising five months in hospital, Logan received the exciting news that he had been granted a Starlight Wish.
This was a very special gift for the family as Logan’s dad Luke had also been granted a Starlight Wish when he was a child.
Knowing how much his dad still treasures the memories of his wish, Logan asked for a Gold Coast family adventure just like his dad had 34 years ago.

In January this year, thanks to your kind support, Logan and his family set off to Queensland on their unforgettable Starlight Wish adventure.
"We will be forever grateful for the wonderful memories we have made as a family and to Starlight for bringing happiness and brightness into our lives during such dark and painful times," Logan's mum said.
