The Great Adventure Challenge 2018 is on Saturday, 20th October at Wangi Wangi, NSW. Clear your calendar and get ready for running, kayaking and mountain biking – and because Starlight doesn’t know how to do it any other way – a healthy dose of fun, joy and laughter.

Your support crew are here to help. 

  • The event will be based out of Wangi Wangi, on the Central Coast. Stay tuned for more information regarding the exact meeting point!

  • The Great Adventure Challenge is indeed a challenge, but it is achievable for anyone with a good general level of fitness. Check out these preparation tips to get yourself ready.

  • Fundraise $10,000 and receive 30 minutes off your team time, $15,000 for 45 minutes, and $20,000 for 60 minutes.

  • There will be a Great Adventure Challenge training day on Saturday 8th September from 8.30am to 4pm at Bilarong Reserve, North Narrabeen. You will have the option to leave at 12pm after the morning session if you need to.

  • Send email to Mick from Sydney MTB Hire at, or give him a call on 0408 690 584.

  • Your team is your support crew! The eight registered members of your team are the only ones allowed to help on the course. This includes the driving of vehicles, loading bikes onto cars, reading maps etc – anything that helps you complete The Great Adventure Challenge.
