Starlight is grateful for the ongoing support from a number of well-known individuals who represent and interact with our programs and events as Ambassadors.

As a family man, Billy Slater loves being able to make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

Carissa is a passionate advocate for Starlight, having come on board as an ambassador in 2015.
|Chris Mayne: AFL Player
Former Fremantle Dockers forward and new Colligwood star, Chris Mayne is passionate about giving back to the community.

Daniel says he loves his involvement with Starlight and was delighted to be welcomed on board as a Starlight Ambassador.

Darryl joined Starlight as an Ambassador after he experienced Starlight programs in his role on the NRL Footy Show in 2013.

Delta Goodrem believes it is crucial for seriously ill children and their families to have something to look forward to, and what Starlight brings them is second to none.
|Dylan Alcott OAM: Paralympian, World Champion, Former Starlight Child
Paralympic gold medallist and a world champion Dylan Alcott OAM was granted his Starlight Wish when he was 11 and is now proud to be an Ambassador for Starlight.

Guy is equally passionate about family, food and causes close to his heart and has been a long-time supporter of Starlight.

Hayden Quinn was personally able to witness the impact of Starlight's program when his sister, Madi, was seriously ill.

Herb was inspired to become a Starlight Ambassador after his son was hospitalised and he saw first-hand the benefits of Starlight.

Despite his demanding training regime, Jed has always made time to visit sick kids in the Starlight Express Room.

Hawthorn star player Jack Gunston knows a lot about AFL. He also knows a lot about the happiness a Starlight Wish creates.

Kieren has said: "To be involved with Starlight is knowing you're giving a whole generation of children and their families some joy to help them through an immensely challenging time."
|Kimberlee Green: World Champion Netballer
Kimberlee is a valued team-mate both on and off the court. She was drawn to Starlight because of the wide variety of programs for sick kids and teens and says the importance of social wellbeing on overall health really resonates with her.
|Laura Cassai: Gourmet Italian chef and cookbook author
Laura Cassai loves how Starlight puts the biggest smile on these kids' faces, "To see a sick child smiling is one of the most powerful things I have ever experienced."
|Libby Trickett OAM: Former Olympian
Libby has always admired the work of the Starlight Children's Foundation, and has visited the Starlight Express Rooms on numerous occasions to experience first- hand how Starlight brightens the hospital experience for sick kids and their families.
|Mick Fanning: World Champion Surfer
Mick's first Starlight Wish he granted was a one on one surf lesson, giving his competition surfboard to the wish child. Joining Starlight as an Ambassador in 2014, Mick continues to grant wishes and plans to visit the Starlight Express Room.
|Mike Hussey: Cricketer
Mike Hussey or 'Mr Cricket', as he is known in cricketing circles, is no stranger to helping sick children smile as a much loved visitor to the Starlight Express Room.
|Neil Perry AM: Chef and Starlight Luminary
Neil Perry got involved with Starlight over 20 years ago to share his good fortune with others, 'It's all about taking my luck and making sure I shine those opportunities on the community.' said Neil.

When asked what he loves most about Starlight, Ryan said it's the fun and enjoyment given to children and their families during tough times.

Liv was in awe of the kids she met in the Starlight Express Room and on the wards: “I love how they are so positive, and I admire their energy, good spirit and cheekiness in spite of what they’re going through.”

Sam, along with his team mates regularly make the time to visit the Brisbane Starlight Express Room where they love playing games and mucking around with the kids.

Starlight is all about positivity, so we are delighted to welcome Founder of The Positivity Institute, Dr Suzy Green as a Starlight Ambassador.
|Timomatic: Singer-songwriter and dancer
Tim says he's had many great times hanging out with the kids in the Starlight Express Room. Not surprisingly, his visits involve singing and some pretty fancy dance moves with the kids! "To see the kids lighting up and having such a good time is really very special."
