Engage your workforce
Partner with a charity that really understands what it takes to engage your workforce and create a great place to work.
We’re proud to be the only Australian charity to have been awarded the Aon Hewitt accreditation for Best Employer (2012 & 2014) and to be ranked in the top ten BRW Best Places to Work in Australia (2014).
Starlight’s Meaningful Business program has been designed to incorporate this expertise.
As a Starlight Corporate supporter, you’ll be partnering with a charity that really understands what it takes to engage your workforce and create a great place to work. Our Partnerships Executives will work with you to develop mutually beneficial relationships that will align your business goals and raise much-needed funds for Starlight at the same time.
Our Meaningful Business program incorporates the following:
A team building challenge will facilitate relationship building, break down silos and building rapport while also making a difference.
Starlight's Get Active Program offers multiple opportunities across Australia to get active and raise funds for Starlight. Rally your colleagues and participate in the Great Adventure Challenge or Race to Shine on one of the many fun runs across the country.
We can provide a Starlight representative to speak at your next whole-of-company or office team meeting to rally your staff to action or communicate the positive impact of employee fundraising.
You can also take part in Starlight's 5 Days of Happy Challenge with 5 simple daily activities designed to boost you and your team's positivity.
We have a number of volunteering opportunities available for our Corporate Partners. These include:
Starlight Express Room Team Activities
Your employees can volunteer to visit our Starlight Express Rooms, which are located in major children’s hospitals nationally. The only qualification your team needs is the ability to have fun! Working alongside our very talented Captain Starlights, your team will find this an unforgettable and rewarding experience. Whether it’s creating a quiz, organising a craft activity, or theming the room to inspire the kids, your team will work together to bring joy to the lives of seriously ill children.
Starlight / Craft Packs, Present Wrapping and Surprise Packs
Involve your employees in creating craft and activity packs for children confined to hospital beds. At Christmas, this can include wrapping Christmas presents and creating surprise packs for Starlight families.
Starlight Day / Week (National Event)
During Starlight Day every year, we invite our volunteers and corporate partners to help us paint the streets purple and gold to raise awareness and much-need funds for Starlight.
