At the heart of Cashrewards beats a passion for giving back. Cashrewards believes that you don’t need to choose between doing good and doing well. While results are important, the company believes that the way results are achieved are important too.

Cashrewards partnership with The Starlight Children’s Foundation is deeply personal. When company founders, Andrew and Lorica along with their son, Sam, experienced first-hand the positive impact of Starlight's programs, they knew they wanted to give back to The Foundation. Their experience led them to integrate this spirit of giving into the very essence of Cashrewards, making Starlight the obvious choice as their charity partner.

Cashrewards began their partnership with Starlight in 2017, with a pledge to donate the equivalent of 1% of cashback redeemed by Cashrewards members to The Starlight Children’s Foundation and have since donated more than $1.8 million to Starlight, helping over 46,000 sick kids and their families.

Cashrewards’ dedication doesn’t stop at donations. The staff are actively involved in various initiatives and fundraising events supporting Starlight. These include Kick for Kids, Thank-a-Thon, SuperSwim, and their proprietary event, Joyathon, a month-long event focused on the joy of giving back. In May 2021, Cashrewards launched the annual Shop4Starlight campaign, pledging a $1 donation from every approved transaction to The Starlight Children’s Foundation. In 2022, Cashrewards was also a major sponsor of the annual Star Ball.
