Thank you, merci, grazie or cheers. However you say it, it does you good. Research shows that being thankful helps you have more positive emotions and feel more optimistic, which improves overall health.

Try this simple positivity tip for yourself: At the end of every day, think of three things that you are thankful for.

If there's someone important in your life, why not write them a thank you note, then call them and read it to them? Expressing your thanks to someone personally has been shown to be an instant mood booster!

So be thankful and importantly, don't keep it to yourself!
